Common Questions

How do I create an account with FastMesh?


Getting started with FastMesh happens on your web browser or by giving us a call. Our account creation website can be accessed by connecting to a FastMesh WiFi network in your building then attempting to navigate to any webpage. This will open our start page where you can get online within a few minutes.




I forgot my username and password. What do I do?


All username and password credentials were emailed to the email address provided when the account was created. Search for "FastMesh Created" in your emails and it should pop right up. You can also use the "forgot password" button on our start page or send us an email, text message, or give us a call!




I think my account is the wrong speed. How do I check?


If you feel you have renewed your account into the wrong tier of service, you can check your account type by going to your "manage account" area which can be found on our start page. You can access this page from anywhere; we send you a reminder link via email each time your account is renewed. You may also send us a message and we can provide you with the link. Your plan type will be listed under "Current Access Plan." If you want to change your plan, simply renew your package under "Choose Package." If you are upgrading from one paid plan to another in the middle of your billing cycle, please let us know so we can apply an account credit.




Why is my internet connection pausing or stopped?


There is no single straight forward answer to this, but we do have one tip to start with. Computers oftentimes have problems with WiFi network switching. On our Support page, we have a quick guide to help make sure there is only ONE FastMesh WiFi network on your preferred networks list. If this does not help, contact us and we wil be happy to further assist you!




How do I set up Auto Login on all of my devices?


After you create your FastMesh Account, select the "Automatic Login" checkbox when you log in and your device should be added to your Auto Login list. Click here for more information about adding devices to Auto Login Note: Free Slow Surf accounts are not eligible for Auto Login.




How do I add my game console or TV streaming device?


There are many set-top devices that work great on our network. All you need to do is send us the Wireless MAC Address of your device along with your username, and we will add it to your account. For best compatibility, please send us this information BEFORE you connect your device to your FastMesh WiFi network :) There are detailed guides on how to find your device's Wireless MAC Address on our Support page.




My wireless network dissapeared or isn't working properly. What do I do?


If your FastMesh WiFi network has disappeared or your data connection is pausing, please let us know! Call us, e-mail us, or send us a text. Please include your username and the exact name of the FastMesh WiFi network you are having trouble with. Please make sure to give us a short description of your issue. We can usually resolve any issues within a few minutes :)




How do I manage my Auto Login device list?


In order to manage your Auto Login device list. you first must login to your account using the link below:

fastmesh.com/manage
Once you are in your Account Details dashboard, scroll down to Automatic Login where you can add or remove devices to/from your account.
